LAMB

Fellow LAMB Warriors, Brothers All,

Having asked some of the charities LAMB supports as well as our membership, to visit the LAMB Foundation reviews on GreatNonProfits.org, I wanted continue to relay some of the terrific feedback LAMB has received. In last month’s newsletter I highlighted a posting by the Wallace Council. Since that time we received enough reviews to get LAMB rated as a “Top-NonProfit for 2016”- our second year in a row. The reviews range from some of our members, to parents, donors, the general public as well as the charities we support. In an effort to continue to give everyone a better perspective of how our efforts with LAMB really do the Lord’s work, I thought I would share a couple of the recent reviews that LAMB has received from two of the main charities LAMB supports; the Special Olympics of NC and Holy Angels of Belmont.

“The NC Knights of Columbus support of Special Olympics North Carolina through the LAMB Foundation of NC is outstanding! The State Council along with many local Councils support SONC on the local and state levels with funding of approximately $100,000 annually while also providing tremendous volunteer support from Council members and their families and friends. We are so grateful for the support given year after year to support our mission to improve the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities through our sports and health & wellness programs.” - Keith L. Fishburne president and CEO of Special Olympics North Carolina

“The LAMB Foundation has been a faithful supporter of our mission of loving, living and learning for the differently able for over 15 years. Holy Angels is a nonprofit 501(c)3 residential facility in Belmont, NC that provides specialized round-the-clock care for children and adults with intellectual developmental disabilities and delicate medical conditions. The LAMB Foundation, as well as the individual Knights of Columbus Councils, have dedicated their prayers and support to assisting us in providing the highest level of care for those we are privileged to serve. They have provided funding for adaptive equipment, mechanical lifts and transportation to name a few. They have always been eager to have their members come tour, learn more about our mission and develop a mutually beneficial partnership with our agency - because both Holy Angels and the LAMB Foundation strive to serve "the least of these" in all that we do.” – Anne Bogen, Vice President of the Holy Angels Foundation
